Pax Profundis

Latin for peace profound, deep peace or peace from the depths.
Primarily from the Rosicrucian tradition. Used as a motto, a greeting, or in signing off a letter or memo.
Pax Profundis is the state desired by all students of Rosicrucianism. This deep peace is said to be the greatest state that can be achieved by a mystic, in life within the physical body or in life outside the body. It is a level of self that is subtle and profound said to create concentric energy circles of Love, and musical vibrations that transcends all spheres of existence to nurture and console all beings. This profound peace is the clear and unambiguous feeling of absolute certainty of being one with the whole, and knowing that the whole is a great Eternal Light.
Pax Profundis is not an altered state of consciousness that can be achieved by opening the doors of perception that provides some sort of Nirvana. It is the vibration level in which the veil of mystery is finally lifted before the tabernacle of the Holy Spirit and the Holy Grail is at hand. It is the opposite extreme to death, is where life begins in all directions, issued on all levels and is the Mental Peace, the state of mind of the individual lighting in which it joins the Cosmic Mind by a thread of silver in which no impurity can bring. Pax Profundis is the state of the Mystic Dove, Bringer of Peace.
